The Towpath Trail will be temporarily closed between the Harvard Avenue Trailhead and the canal fishing area below CanalWay Center from October 9 through 11 for First Energy transmission line repair work.
The trail is scheduled to reopen on October 12
Riders can follow an on-road detour using Harvard Avenue, E. 49thStreet and the All Purpose Trail along E. 49th Street and throughout the Ohio & Erie Canal Reservation. View a detour map here.
