Janette Sadik-Khan, former Commissioner of the New York City Department of Transportation and author of Streetfight: Handbook for an Urban Revolution, recently spoke at the Cleveland City Club. The topic was the role transportation plays in improving the quality of life in cities. Innovations such as bike lanes, creative placemaking and pedestrian connections are all discussed.
