Get ready for exciting bike rides along the Towpath Trail with breathtaking views of where history meets industry and nature. Cycle Canalway 2020 is a FREE event, offering 12 self-guided leisure bike rides through the Towpath Trail. Enjoy fun, curated rides for ALL experience levels!
Dates: September 3-30, 2020 (participate on your own schedule)
Adventure Guides – We did all the work, so all you have to do is pedal and enjoy the sights. When you register, you’ll get free access to our “Adventure Guides”, which include everything from directions and where to park, to mileage and terrain, descriptions and links to the incredible historic and natural sights you’ll experience, activities you can enjoy on the trail, and a guide to nearby attractions. We even have special Cycle Canalway coloring pages for the kids!
- Joyrides – Family-friendly or beginner bike rides. (3-9 miles)
- Jaunt Rides – Regular cyclists (16-21 miles)
- Journey Rides – Experienced cyclists seeking an enhanced ride (26-34 miles)
Mapped Rides – 12 Cycle Canalway rides to choose from! Rides are mapped for ALL skill levels, from beginners and families hitting the Towpath Trail for the first time to experienced cyclists hungry to explore. Choose your own adventure and start at either end of the route you select. Starting points are all throughout the Greater Cleveland area.
Chance to Win Prizes — Complete one or more rides between September 3-30. When you share your photos with us on social media using the hashtag #CycleCanalway (make sure your post is set to public so we can see it!), you’ll be automatically entered to win a weekly prize package (some valued at over $300!). New prize packages and previous weeks winners will be announced every Wednesday on Canalway Partners’ website, Facebook and Twitter.
