A BioBlitz is a 24-hour event in which teams of volunteer scientists, families, students, teachers, and other community members work together to find and identify as many species of plants, animals, microbes, fungi, and other organisms as possible. In 2016, the National Park Service Centennial, BioBlitz goes national and Cuyahoga Valley National Park is happy to be the signature event in the Midwest Region.

CVNP will engaging the scientific community, volunteers, and survey participants through three rounds of registration. We are currently recruiting interested scientists and have opened that registration portal below. Check back mid-March to register to help coordinate the event or participate in species surveys.
